Looking at my jewelry collection I've noticed that the number of earring sets I own has grown substantially in the past year or two. It's almost as bad as my scarf collection. Ok, who am I kidding, it's worse. They are just so fun and affordable!
If you go to a jewelry party and money is tight, you're not likely walking out of there with a necklace (too expensive), a bracelette (which don't always work on their own), and a pin is not "practical" enough. But earrings, now you're talking. You can even justify the purchase because you're getting more for your buck because it's two pieces unlike a necklace which is only one piece.
So you can understand why I just had to make these as soon as I saw the pattern (see picture below). Lita is showing off her new crochet hoops I made her as a "seminar roommate gift" back in August.
I'll update this post later with the link to the pattern later. If you can't wait you can find it on my Crochet & Crafts board on Pinterest. If you don't crochet and want a pair of your own I can make them for you for $10 (free shipping). Just let me know what color and if you want small, med, or large hoops.
